Summary: Ground level accessible with restroom limitation.
The ground level rooms are accessible, although the bathrooms are not (doors too narrow, interior space limited). All rooms on the ground level are accessible from outdoors and also from one another. There are additional inaccessible rooms on the second floor and in the basement.
*** The number one priority on Grace's survey of the congregation for the Capital Campaign is accessible bathrooms, so we should keep in touch and check back with them in six months to year. (The two small bathrooms on the LR/Guild Room corridor could be made intone unisex accessible bathroom easily!)
Accessible Rooms: Ground Level
1. Sanctuary - seats about 325 - 375 (or more)
2. Parish Hall (Nieman Hall) - seats 250 approximately
3. Living Room - seats 20 set up as living room; auditorium style would probably seat 35 to 45
4. Guild/Choir Room - seats 40 - 50
5. Chapel (forgot to look at it - I'm not sure it is still there) would seat 15 or so
6. Kitchen
Inaccessible Rooms:
1. 3 Bathrooms (all too tight for access at entry and inside) on the ground floor
2. 3 Rite 3 Meeting rooms on lower level -average/small classrooms - sea t about 20 max each
3. 2 average/small classrooms on upper level - seat 15 to 20 each
Parking/Location:
1. Very accessible Entry from the side parking lot with handicap parking spaces (three at side, one at rear)
2. Very large parking lot - holds easily 80 cars or more
3. Location on Madison Avenue just outside downtown Madison, easily reached by 24 and 287
